THREE STEPS FOR A BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY HAIR!

Hello friends!

For all those people, craving for beautiful silky hair, today’s article will be on the three steps to get a healthy hair.

Living in a city has its disadvantages and the biggest one is this pollution! We can try at individual level to reduce the pollution as much as we can and I am sure we all do! But, there are pollution which we can never control alone and their impact is humongous on us! Step outside your house during the day and you can fathom the intensity of pollution that is harming every living being on this planet. And it is causing havoc!

Well if you are thinking that I tricked you in reading this article of pollution by mentioning beautiful silky hair, then you are wrong! I am going to discuss how to maintain your hair…but I prefer discussing the cause first and then the cure. And the problem of pollution is real guys. You can obviously feel the effect also…skin and hair damage are the ones which are most visible to every single individual!

As I was saying, we are often dealing with hair problems like dandruff, dry scalp, hair loss and splitting of hair tips! I have tried these steps at home and trust me, I have got great results. That is why, I am sharing my experience with you.

Below are the steps for long, thick and beautiful tresses!

1. Oiling of the scalp:

Nowadays, it is very important that you moisturize your scalp heavily, because as soon as you go out, you are exposed to dust, dirt and this summer heat which will damage your hair and make your scalp dry…hence the dandruff! I don’t get to oil my scalp regularly, but if you get time to do that, then it is good. When you are oiling, make sure you massage your scalp for 5-10 minutes. That  increases blood flow, strengthening hair follicles and brings shine to hair.

I apply coconut oil mostly. Coconut is excellent for the scalp and hair growth! There are other products too, that you can mix with the oil, to enhance the growth and make your hair strong and soft!

So, choose the hair oil accordingly. I will be discussing about the different hair oils and the different products you can mix with coconut oil, shortly in subsequent articles!

2. Wash with shampoo:

Washing with shampoo is easy. But, you should shampoo your hair after oiling, because the oil conditions and moisturize your hair and the longer you keep the oil, better for the hair.

P.S. If you do not have oily skin, then keep the oil overnight. Best for the hair and also time saving method!

I use Dove shampoo for my hair. It removes the oil and also add moisture and volume to my hair.

3. Apply conditioner:

Most of us, leave the hair at shampoo stage. But we forget that conditioning the hair after shampoo is crucial for the hair. Conditioner helps reduce frizzy-ness and also, smoothens the hair. That way, when you comb your hair later, hair falls less!

I prefer to use the same brand conditioner as the shampoo. I would suggest you to do the same, that ways you will get better result.

Follow the above steps for at least thrice a week and see the result yourself.

Tips: You can cover your hair and face with a scarf, whenever you are going somewhere. That way, you are avoiding the pollution also!

Last, but not the least, let us take care of our environment and try to reduce the pollution in every way we can! Because, we make this city!

  1. I”ve been using 1:1 ratio of rosemary tea (made from my own herbs) and raw apple cider vinegar. I put it in a spray bottle and keep it in the fridge. When it”s hair washing day, I put the bottle in a mug of hot water to warm it up. I spray it all over my scalp and massage it. I leave it on for an hour and then wash my hair as usual. I have dandruff and eczema on my scalp. I”ve noticed that after doing this, when I get out of the shower, I see LARGE dandruff flakes the size of my thumb nail, in my hair. Does the tea or ACV cause this? Is this good or bad? Thank you for the great post!
